Parts that fit your 2005 F-150

Camper shell or truck cap on your F-150?

The fits above mount to the cab. With a camper shell, mount the rack to the shell instead. There are two common ways:

Option 1: Add tracks to the shell

Bolt tracks to the top of the shell, then clamp towers into them (Yakima SkyLine with Landing Pad 1, or Rhino-Rack RLT600). Strongest option and the easiest to adjust bar spread.

Option 2: Add artificial rain gutters

Rain-gutter strips attach to the shell's sides, then gutter-style towers clamp on (Thule Rapid Gutter or Yakima 1A). No tracks on the roof, and a good fit for shells without a flat top.
