Ski and snowboard rack tips

Open it with gloves on first.Latches that are easy in a warm garage are harder with frozen fingers.

Rinse off road salt.Clean around locks, pivots, rubber, and fasteners after winter driving.

Frozen lock? Don't force it.It's usually moisture. Keep openings clean and use lock lubricant.

Already have a cargo box?If your skis fit inside, a separate ski rack may be overkill.

Tall vehicle?A slide-out rack lets you load from the side of the vehicle.
